As a global virtual company, Upleveling Your Business strives to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable space for development of our team and our clients.

What Inclusion means to UYB:

We invest in diverse employees from all walks of life, and we respect everyone’s experiences. Always ready to be both the teacher and the student, Inclusion means that we know when to be students and when to be teachers.

As coaches, we recognize that dynamics are always changing, and we learn how to adapt and shift our style to meet our clients.

As leaders… when you know better, you do better. From owning when we make a mistake to becoming more aware of things that might be heard differently from those that have different perspectives. We strive to learn and grow. We are all human and we all have opportunities to be the change we want to see in the world.

How we invest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

We further our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts through key trainings, coaching opportunities, inclusive feedback and building new relationships locally and globally. We believe in continuous learning and building relationships that prioritize purpose and awareness for the issues that matter. We recognize that we can learn from everyone, and we all strive to be forever learners. We invest in having a safe space to encourage open conversations through training facilitation.

Helping define DEI opportunities
Onboarding a DEI coach to help clients introduce DEI to their business
Weaving DEI to all areas of the business (marketing, sales, administrative/cultural holidays, coaching, financial)
Keeping cultural diversity in mind when collaborating with influencers, choosing speakers and sending out recommended readings
Prioritize global giving-back efforts through Kiva (we have supported over 634 small business owners since our launch!)

Who is included at UYB and why are we so passionate about this?
